Red and White

Which country would you support?
Would you support a country you are from or would you support a country you like?

Well on Thursday the 22nd of September our class walked to school in red and white for Japan's rugby team the competitive Cherry Blossoms and Canada! In the morning we had fun waving little flags around and wearing Mr Gordon's Canadian hats while taking funky photos! Other classes dressed in different colours to represent the other countries. Room 8 wore French colours which are blue, white and red. After that it was back to serious school work and then it was the end of another fun and exciting day of supporting the Rugby World Cup!

Grandparent Open Morning - Nina

I was fortunate to have both my grandma and grandpa visit my classroom this morning! I enjoyed showing them my school work on the walls, the classroom blog, competing in maths games, and having a video interview with them!

Testing out our RICE Games

Alicia enjoyed being able to play the game and test it for any problems after it was made. Rosa noted that on one part of their board game a player could become trapped if they kept picking up RICE cards that moved them ahead or back 3 places. The group will have to problem solve a solution to that one!
