Jack's Jellyfish Tale

Splash! Splash!! Splash!!!. Last Saturday I went to Mairangi Bay beach. I went with my Mum, my dog Harry and 2 friends called Islay and James. We were splashing around in the water until 3 kids called out to us “Hey!! Wanna see some jellyfish?” So we paddled over to them. They each had a plastic cup in their hand containing little jellyfish with red dots inside their head swimming around. One if the the kids said “There everywhere! See look there’s one!”. After we saw those jellyfish we were playing around with them and putting them in the other kids cups. Eventually the 3 kids were gone, but the girl came over to us so I shouted “Wanna help us find more jellyfish?” But then the girl said “Sorry but were going now, but, do you guys want the cup?” so we said yes. After around half an hour we started digging a hole in the sand to put water in them put in some jellyfish that we found. We built a moat and everything but things started turning bad... The worst thing that could happen while building a sand castle or building anything near the sea, the tide coming in. We needed to hurry, after about an hour from when we started we had around 10-15 jellyfish left. OH NO!! The tide just washed out around 5 jellyfish!!. Now we only have like 7!! But it was too late the tide just wiped all the jellyfish away. The other bad thing was after that my mum said “Were going back home for dinner now, ok?” But at least we still had one good thing left. I saved one of the jellyfish and put it in a bottle and took it home... I wonder if mum will notice.
